Well that sucks lol that didn't fix it either!!! There's no vacuum leaks, the spare vacuum hole is plugged I went over every single vacuum line... There isn't any more old sensors on this engine except the ones on the throttle body

Let me ask u something though? I installed a throttle body spacer hoping it would give me a little more torque and HP when the engine was rebuilt a month ago... There is not any leaks at this spacer plate I've checked that just wondering if it might be throwing off the computer

Lets start from scratch.

In detail just what is the problem?

Are you sure you have a problem? it is a 2.5 not a V8

Be very detailed Please

It has like a small miss or hesitation but not a dead miss? Everything is new even the distributor is new and the ignition coil...

What plugs are you running?

The thoughts on a throttle body spacer is that it helps atomize the fuel/air mixture better. They worked great on carb and throttle body injection. There is little to no advantage on a port injected engine.

Take it off and see how it runs.

I think all you have is the very common 2.5L burp/hiccup at takeoff from a dead stop and its never going to get fixed or go away you just learn how to avoid it.

Its always more pronounced during the summer using the A/C causes it to happen more often but its always there even when not using the A/C.

The 2.5 is not a V8

It has been on a scanner it keeps saying catalyst as always. It was doing this same thing before it was rebuilt that's why I replaced everything everything for the ignition is new distributor included...... But yes it's a 2.5 there isn't any vacuum or intake leaks I guess I'll try taking off the spacer and see what happens

You could be right? Sometimes it does it worse then other times... Sometimes it will pull decent and then it will fall flat!! When the engine was rebuilt the intake was port matched to the head. The intake was ported and cleaned up and the head was ported to! This engine doesn't run any better then before it was rebuilt? I even have one of those performance chips on this engine that they advertise on here all the time....
