Just bought an 03 Dakota with a 3.9L. Cold or hot the truck has a rough idle. The idle does not lope, just a rough idle. The truck has a very slow acceleration. After the truck sits for 20 to 30 minutes, I will start it, try to drive off, and it loses all power like its not getting any fuel. The truck will almost start to back fire but will not stall as long as I let out of the gas. After the truck runs for a couple of minutes, the problem goes away other than the rough idle and sluggish acceleration. I am out of town so I have not been able to test anything yet.
