Default 42re problems after fluid change

I've got an 02 dakota that threw a tranny code saying governor module issue. Went to dodge and bought filter, solenoid, and module and replaced them. Filled trans with ATF+4 (4 qts) and level is ok. My driveway is very steep and it won't pull the first 10 feet of it. Any suggestions as to what I did wrong? Really need to get truck back on the road. It did pull the driveway fine before I worked on it. Was just shifting issues.

Thanks

Is the dipstick showing full after letting it run and push fluid around? If it was sucking air you'd get no movement at all, so i think the seals are fine, just not full.

Were there two filters in the tranny? Flat and Spin on. If the flat filter is not installed correctly, it can cause issues, I've heard.

There's only one filter on the 42re. 4 quarts is about right after a fluid/filter change.

Did you put a new gasket on the governor pressure sensor? New O ring, lubed?
