even on the racecar, we use the hand-tight + 1/4 turn (snug) rule using a speed wrench.

Are they felpro blues or fepro blacks?

my 01 dak book says for a V6 3.9 head cover, I,E, valve cover. 95 in lbs. sounds a bit tight to me. but i have always done 10 ft lb. i use a 1/4 drive and choke it between index and middle finger and and make it a little more than snug.

10 ft lbs is 120 inch pounds, just saying. 95 sounds right and 80 sounds better for felpro's.

Yes the Felpro Blue's are what we run on the oil pan and valve covers. We run Felpro Black's with the blue silicone built in for the intake gaskets, and we use regular stock style exhaust gaskets sprayed in copper-coat so we can keep re-using them. Head gaskets are Cometic MLS sprayed in copper coat for re-usability.

i almost ordered different intake gasket, but figured id use the ones with the Hughes kit, they should be more than sufficient for this round. once i get this all done and the trucks back on the road then hopefully it will be time to get with sean and get the tuner ordered.
