1) I thought you said you were getting too old to work on your truck?

2) Gosh, where's the rust?!? Lucky AZ fellas.

3) How is your old rad in such good condition?

guys, he's putting the 00+ nose on the 99- body. The core support is totally different, but allows a larger radiator and better cooling options.

No leaks just burping the system she had air lock at first as I completely drained all the coolant.

New efan comes in next week and I need to get 2 custom A/C lines made for it and some other custom mod work done but the 2000 and up Rad upgrade is in and working great.

Had to modify the Rad brace a little but it was easy to do.

Next week well I started already I'm pulling my Dash and replacing my HVAC Box with the one I purchased a few years ago I have half the Dash parts off now.

The main reason I'm replacing the Rad is my old efan is well old and not much life to it so now I can use the newer efan from a 2000 and up Dakota that and like magnet said plus a better A/C condenser setup.

I will never stop working on cars I like it too much to stop

I'm still debating getting that 2001 3.9 silver Dakota its still available I wanted to finish a few things I had in the works for old Red still like her a lot.

Hard to let her go old Red but I think it may be time.

I have documented all my work on her mods and all still very solid truck dependable transportation for many years yet.

Blue only lists her at over $1K even in good condition that's crap the 2.5 is what kills the value and a basic model.

My end up with 2 Dakotas Old red and Silver as I'm sinking almost $800 in this mod.

Looks good! Might I ask why you've decided to do this mod?

Look at post #5 its about my efan is old and no longer available its about I need a new Rad anyway it was 12 years old and its about my A/C that was all messed up by a shop and I wanted to convert to the 2000+ improved A/C system you need an A/C system that puts out cold air hopefully freezing cold air in AZ.

Been planning this two years picking up parts as I go HVAC Box lines fittings parts so I could get it done.

Most off ebay, rockauto local craigslist friends and Luck.

Now is the time I hope pulling the HVAC box is not PITA but I read everywhere its not fun.

Post more Pic's as I get things done
