hard to say as the problem description is vague.

the cruise works until you adjust the speed setting through the steering wheel buttons?

the high side of the a/c system should build pressure; why is that a problem?

I have no earthly idea what you are asking, so I'm as lost as you are. The quality of the responses you get to questions is directly related to the effort you put into accurately describing the issue and stating the question.

Man, I had no idea that you could have cruise with a 5 speed.

if
i could retrofit my 2003 3.9 with cruise and radio buttons on the wheel
i'd do it in an instant. As long as the wheel wiring harness is the same the radio controls should be easy. Just a new wheel and clockspring. The cruise though, I dunno.
anybody know how?
