Default Lifting

I have a 2004 quad cab sxt and I know they don't make a lift kit for it besides like a 3 in body lift but I want suspension. I see a lot of them anyone want to share what they have and how they did it? How difficult is it to modify a lift kit off a ram?

Here is a thread that explains the frequently discussed topic. The search feature is a wonderful thing.

My advise is really do some research and consider what you want.. if you have access to the tools or have the money to do a full SAS I'd do that..

Guess the point I'm making is dont settle spend money that you really dont want if there is something more youd rather want else youll just loose in the long run when you have regret and start spending more $$ to get what you really want.

id definatly go SAS,you have to make your own front spring hanger,i did my sas with no help at all,its time consuming, but, pretty strait forward.the only part that's kinda sucks is converting from rack and pinion steering to old style gearbox,i used a gearbox from a 99 jeep grand Cherokee...

Mine was older so it already had a steering box. I pretty much did the whole conversion over a 3-day weekend.
