Default Dodge prob

Help with dodge dakota, stumbles backfires and dies while driving , I have replaced both speed sensors. Could it be a bad catalytic convertor

Remove the 02 sensor before the cat and start it
see if it runs better if does then you have a bad cat.

is your check engine light on? if so what codes do you have? sounds like a bad CPS or catalytic converter..

No its not giving a code and the check engine light is not on. My cousin said he cleaned the catalytic convertor out and it still hasn't helped.

My truck is still acting up, I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. My cousin cleaned the catalytic convertor out but it's still not working like it should

If cats were easily cleaned, no one would buy them. 9.9 times out of 10, it's a wasted effort. I just replaced one on a Hyundai and the honeycomb substrate was melted inside.
