This was posted on the dakota facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/dakotart/ ) a few days ago. I still dont know how they made it fit.

Did he detune it? Or is that to the wheels? First gen Viper engines were rated 400hp.

Ford put out the F150 Lighting and in 1999 made it even better. The HP rating was better and truck was better looking too.

Just saying.

Now, if someone were to put a Cummins in a 4-door, 4WD Dakota...oh yeah.
