Exclamation 04 Dodge Dakota RIDE

I need suggestions. My 04 Dodge Dakota rides like poop. I dont remember if the guy I bought it from said its leveled or lifted 2 inches, but either or, it rides like ****. Id like to keep it whatever way it is (leveled or lifted) I just want to improve my ride. Please post suggestions.

2" won't affect the shocks. I'd suggest Monroe. That's what I ran in my 05.

Was it smooth? I pull trailers with four wheelers (Sounds dumb I know, a 3.7L Dakota pulling) will it have any effect on that?
