Looking at a good deal on tires; will they fit? Help!

I have an 02' Quad cab 4x4 that needs tires.
My truck came with the 6 lug 265/70/16 tires IIRC.
Found a set of Cooper Discovery ATP for $400 (and they only have 2000 miles on them).
Problem is is size... they are 285/75/16.
Calc says stock is 30.6x10.4 and the ones Im looking at are 32.8x11.2.

Most threads I can find say 31 is largest for stock and 32 largest but will hit frame.
Mine is stock...
Will I need a lift? Would it help?

Looking at this one; https://www.ebay.com/itm/87-04-Dodge...IAAOSwLjxaVM5Z

Thoughts?

You are going roughly 2" taller and 1" wider. Back will be fine. Front will probably rub without a leveling kit at least...I always use a tire size calculator to figure out the difference in sizes before buying tires that are different from stock...

You'll have some rubbing in the front at full turn. Also may have issues with hitting the fender at full compression.

Thanks guys, tho this is what I was hearing about the 31's.
How would I do with the lift I linked?

Also, I did the tire calc, that's how I was able to list the exact tire sizes ;)

I rub the back of the fenders at full lock (but not the A arms or sway bar like you may, in addition to the back of the fender). Turning 1/2-3/4" into the torsion bars will clear the top of the fender at compression.
