Service manuals

You can get Haynes. It is similar to Chilton's in price and material, it will run you $15 at most parts stores.

For $19.00 you can get a full service manual on-line at https://www.alldatadiy.com/index.html

OR get the paper Full book at any dealership parts stores for $80. I got 1, I love it. Or http://www.helminc.com/helm/homepage.asp?r

You can try www.ebay.com or www.craigslists.org for these as well

OR here are a few sites that have some good manual stuff.

www.autozone.com has an online repair guide and a specification page. Lots of info!

Default RE: Merry Christmas... 2001 fsm (for a short time)

someone pm'd me saying this needed a password, has anyone else had this problem?

last time I did this it didnt require one, that was back in Dec (hence the Merry Christmas...) and it did not require a password. if it does now, I did not notice it and I'll have to re-load it.

anyone?

It just asked me to log in for the free download.

I don't have an account nor do I want to create one.

The password is "techauthority". (I know this because I downloaded this before in ZIP format or something, and it told me the password).
You can disable it from prompting you for a password by doing the following: Open the document. Click on File>Document Properties (or press CTRL+D). In the new box, select the "Security" tab. You will than see a thing that says "Password Security" in it ("Security Method"). When you press the box-thing, you have 4 options, select "No security" You will than get a box asking if your sure you want to remove security from the document. Select "OK." Than press "OK" to exit the "Document Properties" box.
Than click File>Save (or CTRL+S) to save changes. It will take Acrobat a while, but it will finish.
(FYI, I have Acrobat Pro, so I don't know how things are for just the reader).
There ya go.

Thx much for the password, and no the reader does not let you change security on a protected document.
