Can't pop hood on Dodge Durango
 

I can't pop the hood on my 2004 Dodge Durango Hemi Limited. I pull the latch and I can hear it pop up from the latch but no effect up front. I did shut the hood very softly last night after filling my fluids and I think that's the culprit. Is there an easy fix to get this done?
