My 2004 dodge durango with hemi....engine light and a red symbol depicting a backwards parenthesis [] with a lightning bolt between them
& it now has started stalling..... it ran fine untill we filled up with gas this morning any ideas as to what may be wrong

Your electrical system is failing. The battery or alternator need checked,

That symbol means your Electronic Throttle Control or ETC is having problems. FF gave a good place to start which is having the battery load tested to rule that out.

If ok, then could be a dirty IAC or maybe the throttle body needs to be cleaned.

How many miles on your Durango???

My sepertine belt was slipping and it would cause the alternator to not fully charge my battery and I would get that trouble sign,
