Default EGR Valve

So I need to replace my EGR valve on my 05 durango. I think I know where it is but I want to make sure before I go ripping stuff apart. Is it behind the intake on the top of the engine back by the fire wall? And does anyone have any advice on taking it off? Would it be worth my time to try and clean it?

Thanks,
Rob

Here is the EGR valve location. Best way to take it off, from experience, is to unbolt the two 13mm bolts from the engine block before unbolting the two from the exhaust on the face of the valve. This will allow you to move it up and over a little to allow better access. Don't forget to unhook the electronic connector attached at the top. Also, make sure you have a new gasket, chance are the one there will be done for.
