jeez, can someone please tell what the exact model of transmission my 05 6 cylinder has? it is slipping going into second gear and only has 7300 miles on it. I need to get this fixed asap and i know it prob will not be cheap due to i really don't work on cars. PLEASE HELP. Are there some things i can do that might fix the problem without having to replace the whole transmission? Thanks, Nancy

 

I would bring it to two transmission shops to get a second opinion.

You could go to an auto parts store to see and any trouble codes show up. They will usually do this for free with an OBDII scanner.
