I bought an 06 D approx. 3 months ago and last time I filled up I put the pump down and gas came gushing out the filler opening. I researched 06 D problems before I bought it and did note that there was a recall on some D's. My D does not have any outstanding recalls. I filled up today with no problem. I also noticed there are two small paint bubbles below the gas door. Please advise if i need to replace something or if this is a one time thing or how to fix?
Thanks for the info. I would have never guessed that the dealer wouldn't check the warranty as well. Is there a place I can look this stuff up?
They may have just looked at the recall section by just going off what you said. I woul think today they are probably swamped with last minute oil change crowds. Call them back and ask for service manager. Ask him to look in the warranty coverage part at the very bottom. It's on a different page.
The technical service bulletin related to this warranty extension is 14-002-13 You can also refernce that when you call back.

My wifes 07 Durango has just recently started doing the same thing. Dealer has been no help. I also have paint starting to bubble under the fuel door. Last 8 of the VIN is 7F528533. Thanks!
