Default 2006 Durango limited 5.7 AC fan speed drops

Within 15-20 minutes driving down highway the air conditioner fan speed drops lower and lower and quits. If I turn power off a minute and turn back on it works again then starts cycle again. Switching to manual does not solve problem. Rear AC continues to function with no problem.

Do you think its the fan motor or does it seem like its freezing up and limiting the amount of air flow coming out the vents.

I've had this issue with our 06, I think. Mine seems to quit blowing out of the dash, or anywhere else, but you can still here the blower puffing away. It takes several continuous hours running to do it, like on a trip. I did some digging and come up with a blend door issue.
