2000 Durango Won't Start
 

I have a 2000 durango and it started idling a little rough, then a couple of times when trying to start it, the durango would turn over, btu would not start. I would let it sit for awhile try again and it would start right up. Ofter that happened a couple of times over about a weeks time, it happened again, but this time it would not start up even after sitting for a while.

I was told by Firestone that it was the distributor and the cam shaft sensor. Also, when it was towed the tower checked to see if the solenoid was sparking, but he said it was not. After doing some more research I am not so certain Firestone mechanics are correct. Does anyone have any info on this problem and hte most likely cause and fix.
