The stock weight on my 2004 sxt is just above 2600.
The stock weight on a 2004 SRT-4 is 2900.

 

well my car looks exactly like yours except for the rims lol....my sticker on the inside of the door says front:1982 rear:1677
total: 3659lbs.

check your sticker on the inside of your driver side door.

It says the curb weight is 2626, so unless you are REALLY fat, I don't know where the other 1000 lbs comes from...Still lighter than a 2005+ mustang!

 

That weight can't be right. the AWD WRX STi only way 3400 and has a bigger motor. Neons weigh around 2600 stock like SXT said.

When it comes to speed this magazine I was reading compared the two. When it comes to speed it is exactly the same. Their 0-60 and 1/4 mile times where exactly the time to the tenth of a second. Handling...not sure. The WRX STi is about 200lbs heavier. I don't know if I believe the mag too much though...the STi is a smaller looking car, 2.5 liter engine while evo has 2.0...idk. I like how the Evo looks more though.

The curb weight is around 2600lb...the numbers on the door sticker you are referring to is the maximum weight that can be inside the vehicle "safely".
