Default Magnetic oil drain plug?

Does anyone know if there is a magnetic oil drain plug available for our 2004 SXT, 2.0L engine?

When I changed theoil yesterday, I noticed that the original plug is rounded over so much so that I had to tap the socket onto the plug. So, if I have to replace it next time, I'd like to install a man plug.

Any help will be appreciated.

I'm sure there is. Even the guys at a parts store should be able to find you one. If not, and you really want one, Google something like "magnetic oil drain plug" and pick a site. I've seen them for somewhere right around $10.

-Call your local Advance Auto Parts. I know they carry them for other cars, but I've never bought one for my Neon. I got one for my other car though. Should only be around $4 or plus tax.

Are you sure the $4 ones are magnetic? That's about how much I've paid for regular plugs. It'd be interesting if AAP was less than half the price of eBay.

-Well let's put it this way. I probably bought the plug about 5 years or so ago. I guess they jumped up in price.
