Default Exhaust

Ok, so I'm having a ton of trouble finding exhaust for my car (05 SXT). The only ones I can find are the Magnaflow ones, and the Vibrant ones. However the Magnaflow makes it so you cant have a sway bar (or at least they say you cant) and the Vibrant seems cheap to me. What I really want it a single outlet exaust that dosent sound like a chainsaw (although i think its the muffler that does that?). Oh andCat-back would do nicely. Anyone have any ideas?

Well, first off let me say that unless you'll be making over 400 HP out of your car(highly unlikely with the NGC computer system on an N/A '05 SXT, I know, I own one.) the 2.25" pipe will be more then enough. As far as getting an exhaust kit, don't waste your money. You can get a FlowMaster 50 Delta(or other decent muffler) installed at a shop for $200-$250, add a header and a free flow cat and you'll be about as good as you can get. Pacesetter makes a header(not fancy but they'll work) for about $150 and a free flow cat will run ya' around $70 new or if you can find a like new used one, like I did, you can pay about half of that. All total you'll have about $470 into a killer exhaust that out perform any cat back system on the market. JMHO, YMMV.

I 3rd what was said. me, I have the SRT axle back and it's LOUD and it lost some of the little low end the neons have. so, I'm trading up to the R/T exhaust. so yeah. if anything, go with just an axle back section

IN my opinion, why waste 5 to 7 hundred on a fullexhaust that you wont get any gains out of. Unless you plan on doing some major upgrades and sink alot of money into the car anyway, really look and sound is all your getting out of it anyway, and If you only want a single out this would be my recommendation. Just my opinion.
