after the past 7 or so months its time to move on from the neon. im either selling it and trying to get 9k for it or im trading it in. im also getting rid of my vw golf that i got for work. time to get myself down to one payment and not deal with the 2.

 

I thought about getting rid of my '05 SXT. Still, on the positive side, it's paid for, it gets great gas mileage and it's not a bad looking little car, especially if I can get somekind of new front bumper cover so it doesn't look so much like a "neon" anymore. I wouldn't mind having a VW Golf, those are pretty good little cars, aren't they? Can't you mod em' pretty well, they've even got computer ECM mods for em' too, don't they?
What year Golf do you have, tell us all a bit more about it. Thanks.

 

Sorry to hear that. Are you selling it with the 17" Kobe Envy Rims or putting the stock rims back on?

Yeah sorry to hear your selling your ride its got some nice mods on it maybe you can try to get 7to 9 grand out of it. never getting rid of my sxt thats for sure . She will be my 2nd ride than whatever new one I get .

 

I would get rid of my neon if I could...22mpg is less then spectacular and it's slow as hell

i know 9k is to much to ask for but the dealer offered me 7 on a trade.the rims are going with the car. although i still have acarbon fiberhood for it.the golf is an 04 with a 2.0L 5 speed fully loaded. its a great car but i need something different.

so the dealer is trying to get me financed for a 04 audi A4. if all works out thats what i will be getting with both cars traded in. if not i will be sticking with the neon.

 

So what do you think the Golf is worth? I'd swap my '05 SXT for it if the value is close, I think I could do more in the way of mods to a VW(even a water pumper) then I can the Neon. Anyway, just an idea, kick it around and if you'd want to swap let me know.
