2002 dodge neon brake lights/blinkers problem

so my wife has a 2002 neon and the brake lights and turn signals arent working. the bulbs appear to not be blown (the element or filament or whatever the hell its called, is intact). i also checked all the fuses and 1 was blown and i replaced it. now the odd thing is that i really couldnt find a specific fuse in the dash panel or under the hood for the brake/blinker. a lot of them had letters and i couldnt figure one out that controlled the blinkers and brake lights specifically. can anyone tell me exactly which one to check for the brake lights/rear blinkers? and that way i can just replaces that one to make sure its a good fuse and make sure its getting power to it. or where to start first assuming good fuse and good bulbs? thanks

oh and the tail lights do work (when the headlights are on).

edit: forgot the add the middle brake light does work. i just checked the hazard and those do not work.

Do the front signals work? If the third brake light works then it's not a power problem. It sounds more like a turn signal switch problem. The front and rear signal lights are wired seperately from one another. The brake lights are wired through the turn signal switch to control one flashing and one one steady at the same time. The third brake light doesn't go through the signal switch. If you don't have one, get a service manual. A factory manual is best but a haynes or chiltons will give you basic wiring diagrams.I have them for the 4 other vehicles I own and for some I no longer own, just haven't gotten around to getting one for the Neon yet. They are invaluable for things like this.
