Dodge Neon or Chrysler Neon
Hello all,
My girlfriend recently bought a used "rebuilt" 2001 Chrysler Neon ES. I checked out Wikipedia to find some more info and according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysle...#Trim_levels_2 the ES trim is only on the Dodge Neon. Also, the engine is a 2.0L 16 Valve SOHC, but I assume they have the same engine in both. So I guess what I'm wondering is, what's the difference between a 2001 Dodge Neon and a 2001 Chrysler Neon? |
Dodge, Chrysler & Plymouth Neons are the exact same thing, just different name.

the only difference ive seen is in the badges, such as the steering wheel and front emblem under the hood on the trim peice between the headlights, and the Chrysler Neon is mainly in canada, and the the speedos in KPH, if you you wand to be sure about breakdown the VIN,

Also here....South African based Daimler Chrysler till 2005, produced strong Chrysler neons (which i still own) and later owned by our local Jeep/Dodge till 2017.

I used to have a 2001 Dodge Neon signs and a 2001 Chrysler Neon, but I don’t like both of them, haha
