OK,

I did investigate the old mount taken out tonight....

It is a fluid filled rubber mount...somewhat hollow on the bottom rubber and an antifreeze type consistancy fluid was in there..smelly also..lol

This is for all those that actually wanted positive conformation if it actually has fluid in it.

Should be a kind of hydraulic fluid in there.

 

Negative on an oil. It is more like a antifreeze(pure) consistany...brown and smells horrid.

I can only speculate what its make up could be.

Ran out of it when I drilled into the hollow lower rubber.

Read the post above yours. It's hydraulic fluid. HF is a thin consistency, brown and smells horrible.
