Default '00-'02 Neon front bumper on '03-'05 Neon

Looking to swap an '02 Neon front bumper onto my '05. Recently had a truck literally run my car's front end over and surprisingly it only crumpled the hood a tiny bit and pushed the latch down some. Front bumper is a bit trashed now, too, but mostly around the grill area. Has a big crack on the underside but that's zip-tied together so you can't see it aha.

Really like the look of the earlier 2gn Neon front ends over the later years. I know I'll definitely have to replace the front headlights to fit the new bumper, but does anyone know if it's all swap and go? As in, no bracket modifications or anything, just bolt right in.

Doubt it. They are completely different as they were "face lifted in '03 with larger headlights and the cross hair grill.

No they are 80 percent different nothing would fit not even the fog lights. You would be better off going on ebay and buying one of those cheap replacement bumpers they range from $30 to $100.

AFAIK, if you swap the bumper and lights together, the front and rears can be swapped between 00-02 and 03-05 Neons.

I'll have to check out all the mounting points on an older Neon when I go back to the parts yard again. I'm actually pretty curious about it since the fenders and hood lines look all the same between the years.

People have asked several times in the past, and no one that I can recall has ever reported it didn't work. Search the forum a bit. There's a bunch of threads about it.

Looks like it actually does fit! I had a feeling but, y'know, gotta make sure first. Found a few old threads from some years back of folks swapping bumpers. Also checked images and made note of all the mounts and stuff with the headlights and bumpers. I know there's already a face-lifted Neon at the parts yard without the bumper on so I'll go and test fit an older bumper laying around there on that just to be 100% certain before I order one online (they cost the same online new as they do at the yard with tons of scratches lol).
