My 2g dropped the Trans I have a 1st gen dohc with a bad head. My question can I put the sohc head on my 1st gen? What's involved in doing this swap? My main question is the timing. Would I need to use the sohc timing belt to make this work? I'm a noob when it comes to these things. I'm typically a v8 kinda guy. Any help or advise is appreciated.
