I HAVE A 2000 DODGE NEON AND I WANT TO LOWER IT. I WANT IT TO BE PRETTY LOW SO WHAT SHOULD I BUY. I AM LOOING TO SPEND ABOUT $500. ANY TIPS ON HOW TO DO IT?

 

Your only getting coilovers for that price if they're used...i would go with Tokico HP struts and Eibach Sportlines if you want a really big drop. The Tokico HP's are about as good as they come until you go to their adjustable Illumina's (SRT-4 ACR struts) or go with KONI inserts (the absolute best).

 

what about ground control???

 

GC's are sleeved coilovers that you modify your struts to use...crappy ride but you'll see some handling improvement over stock...but still not nearly as good as getting real coilovers.

 

i want to go with a real set of coil overs to but i looked at the price, OUCH!! i got a cheep set on ebay and they ride harsh, but the handling improvments are insain, from night to day, but i am saving for the coilovers now, but i have to get tires first, one to many burnouts

 

I JUST BOUGHT THE CHEAP EBAY ONES FOR NOW, UNTILL I CAN SAVE?
