Found this thread useful in helping me decide which plugs to try out. I plan on grabbing some automate Cu ones. Wondering which wires to pair with them? Truck has 230k and needs tune up
Edit. I'm now looking at the NGK v-power ZFR6F11. Can any verify these are a Cu plug?

Thats what i thought.. Autozone system says copper but when i googled it the NGK site said nickel.. Weird huh, is it a good plug? Or am i better off with the autolite Cu?

I took out a set of copper champs that looked just fine and put in all new champion plugs, just on a whim. Was like driving a different truck. Power and response was much improved. Makes me wonder about champion quality. Only thing I did different was try to index the open part of ground strap upward. Don't all the copper plugs have some nickel plate or are we talking about the electrode itself?
Had autolites , then ngk, then champs, then finally champs. Never a ping out of any of them
Ok I looked and all, most all even ngk use a nickel alloy shell but have a copper electode, as do most of the platinum and iridium plugs, except for the very tip anyways.

Color's good and the gaps are all dead nuts right where I set them (0.058") four and a half years ago. Guess I'll look at 'em again in another 75,000 miles.
I'm calling the experiment a success.
