Thumbs up DIY - Dashboard Gear Indicator Fix

From redheadhunter21...

Is your gear indicator incorrect? Does it show you to be in reverse but you are actually in neutral? Well, if your orange indicator is off from where it should be, there is an easy fix. It only takes a couple of minutes.

1. Take lower dash panel off, the one below the steering wheel
2. On the right side of the steering column you should see a tab sticking out that has a wire with a loop connected to it.

3. After locating this depending on which way your indicator is off, bend tab untill the indicator shows the correct gear, most will need to be bent down just a tad
4. PUT PARKING BRAKE ON
5. Go through the gears and make sure its were you want it
6. Put dash panel back on
