Lightbulb Differences in Crankshaft Position Sensors; M.T. vs A.T.

Just so others don't get fooled by the local auto parts stores or Amazon trying to sell you the wrong Crankshaft Position Sensor for your Dodge Ram truck... Here are some detailed pics with specific differences you can look for to verify which one you need. Hope this helps some others out there & you don't have to pull your hair out or go chasing "ghost rabbits" like I did! (Btw - Yes, I DID install the Automatic trans. Ckp in the pictures on my Manual trans. 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 5.2L 4x4. Thus, the damaged areas on the tip and back side of the sensor where it rubbed the flywheel!)(And, NO... SHIMMING IT DID NOT WORK EITHER!&#129769
