What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
Replaced the stock speakers w/ Kicker DS series. Kickers were too deep on the front, hitting the window frame. Spaced them out w/ 1/4" nylon spacers. Replaced the back speakers w/ new Kicker DS65 that didn't fit in stock hole so I drilled new mounting holes and spaced them out too. JVC head unit makes them sound great!
Also bought a SCT today. Just waiting for it to arrive.
And super nice score WR!!!!! I wish I could find one like that!

Awesome! I am excited you are finally gonna get crackin' on the 1st gen
Thanks man.. Im not having to pay for everything.. I got a buddy who has been wanting to build up a truck to take up to the mud bogs and the coal hills.. So we agreed to split the price down the middle and work on it together.. Told my cousin he has 30 days to get me the title or I am applying for a new one. Thats the first step before any work.
I bought another 2nd gen yesterday.
2001 3500 24v Cummins 4x4 6spd manual. 208k miles. Factory chassis cab configuration, so 10 foot flat bed. Disk braked Dana 80 rear end. 241hd transfer case. This thing's a gold mine. It had 2psi of fuel pressure at the injection pump, so I replaced the lift pump (thanks Jigabop for the cheap part). Now it is sucking air. I think it just needs fuel in the tank, because it is almost empty and sitting on a slight incline. So I haven't gotten it started yet.
The tool boxes and overhead rack are all removable. it is an out of commission work truck from the company I work for.
Oh yea, I got it for $1250.

So far I've cleaned the air filter, topped off the power steering fluid (nursing a leak), with the air cleaner off I decided to check the TV Cable, think it's adjustment time, there's 1/4" of slack in both directions....
So I adjusted it out (to the rear) a good bit, still play in the cable. Is that normal?
