drove it and had fun hydroplaning on the very wet roads last night

we had a decent rain/thunder storm and I went cruising and splashing water all over the other cars on the road

Well, it wasn't mine, it wasn't today, and it wasn't a second gen... but....

Drove my friends '12 Ram 2500 down to Shirley Indiana yesterday. Right around 500 mile round trip. Truck has around 27K miles on it.... that was NICE..... It even rides decent... I didn't wanna give it back.....

Went down to pick up another tractor. (parts donor.) Hauled an empty trailer down, added about 1650 pounds worth of tractor to it, and drove back. Truck could barely tell it was there. Little bit longer braking distances, and it REALLY liked to hold gears in tow/haul mode.... (hit 4500 RPM on a regular basis....) 150 bucks worth of gas.

I want one. Can't afford it though.

Helped my boss put in one of those throttle sensors in his 5.9 Dakota. Took a whole 3 minutes.

Drove it as a grocery getter today! Woohoo! I still suffer the chug of the intake leak at idle intermittently, but there is no more loss of power or blipping the throttle to prevent pinging off the line thanks to superchips. So excited, just gotta get a day set to replace the intake plenum. On a side note, anything else I should do while I'm in there?

Read the plenum sticky. Dizzy cap n rotor, spark plugs and wires, front o2, catalytic converter, water pump and timing chain (double roller) are usually recommended.

Today I plasti-dipped my bumper step pads. They were looking a little worn so I thought I'd freshen them up a little bit.

Yes, there are other things to do while you are "in there" . Read the plenum sticky! And do a search, the same exact question has been asked/answered 6 million time's. And this thread is NOT where you ask!
