well i also started to eyeball a second trans cooler... also gonna be putting an ext filter, as well as trans temp gauge in...any ideas on where the best/most accurate place would be to put the sending unit?

drove 250 miles home, the cat delete threw another CEL, shut the truck down, refired it, no cel for the last 70 or so miles, i think i need to reset the computer

but it is doing better on fuel with the cat gone

well on the 250 mile drive, i only used half a tank = a little over 14 mpg

(i made it from Kewanne Illinois to the indiana line on a quarter tank, would have done better after that but traffic got heavy

damn im currently geting about 250 to a full tank

miami put his on the back side of the pan i believe, to block from wind and so the fluid is pushed back there

see if the low side of the valve cover has any oil around the gasket. my plugs used to get a good little bit of oil on them from a bad valve cover gasket leak. it did make the plug heat shields easy to pull out though.
