Definetly do it on a warm enough day because you need to put RTV on the front and rear rubber seals that come with your gasket kit, and an extra glob in the corners before you set the intake back down on the lifter valley. If it is too cold, it will not cure properly. Then when you start up your turck, you'll have a nice oil leak. Check the directions of the RTV you plan to use and see what temp range they recommend applying in.

I put the Bumper on last Friday and I put the driving lights on today. Still got a long way to go till she's where I want here.
Got both the bumper and lights on Craigs list.. Not sure of the bumper brand but its a heavy duty aluminum that I got for $350 and the PIAA 40 lights were NIB for $30.

I installed (well attached) some homebrew grill covers for the 4 degree weather we've been having in in WI. Pretty redneck job if I say, though I used no duct tape. Little bit of wrapping paper, hvac duct, tin snips, black paint and zip ties and your good to go.

i flushed the low end of the block out (dropped the oil and poured a gallon of diesel fuel over the lifter valley, shop rag absorbed the remaining fuel in the valley after it drained, then poured fresh oil down the pushrod bores to relube them)

then i proceeded to place the hughes fixed plenum back on the motor...finally, bolted it down, got the EGR hooked back up (that tube is a real bastard to put back into the manifold) and bolted the EGR valve back down, got the PCV hooked back up (with a new valve) and hooked the injector harnesses back up...

Default Changes the front wheel bearings

Swapped out the front wheel bearings and seals. All went smoothly except putting a nice nic where one of the bearing cups pressed in with a punch. Just sanded it smooth and pressed in the cup. Soon will change out all the interior lights to red leds.

Woohoo! Finally got my new Off Road Tech bumper installed. Of course, only then did I realize I forgot to tell the shop that built it about my 2.5" body lift...Guess I'll have a couple brackets welded up to make the difference. $1200.00 for the bumper, $375.00 for powdercoating. Far better than what I could have got from Buckstop or Road Armor.

I don't have any pics yet, but here's the link to the mfg:
