drove to the tractor, fueled it, then drove to town a few miles up the blacktop and bought a two liter Mt.Dew...for the day...it's gone...

drove home, and for one, my temp gauge crapped out, so i gotta put an aftermarket unit in...and i lost oil pressure for just a second turning onto my road, then it shot back up to 40...i dunno, i ain't checked it in about a month and a half....i already have the oil to change it tomorrow...yay

Not sure if I want to dump any money into this engine without a complete rebuild. Has a quiet knock coming from the bottom end. Just wouldn't be worth it on a 5.2. Maybe a Cummins and 3/4 ton axle swap! Or maybe just some cool neon cigarette lighter accesories. Hey, It makes my neighbors cool...

Finally moved it to where I can finish tearing the rear diff down... Just ordered the 4.10's that are going to be taking the place of the old 3.55s It is going to be a great thing when I am able to get it back together and rolling. I have to work several more days in a row so it may take a while to finish but I am looking forward to having the better gear ratio, then it will be time to get the exhaust leak fixed and hopefully start planning for the dashboard fix.

briefly considered putting a full stick o' TNT in the tail pipe when i saw the water pump vomiting...FML

...this truck is nickle and diming me to death....100,000 miles and the **** hit the fan....

....may be buying that 7.3 sooner than anticipated (i'll be traveling quite a bit starting June 1st....and quite frankly, i've lost faith in that truck to get me there and back....on it's own tires)

Fixed manifold leak, apparently the bolts on the drivers side that connect the Y pipe to my manifold had either broken off or fell off cause one was missing and one was about to fall out.

It was time to replace them anyways they were getting rusty.

Also broke my manifold bolts loose on the manifolds on both sides to make my next job " manifold gaskets" a bit easier.
