Take out the stat.... point the upper hose into a bucket, and just circulate water thru it till it starts running clean..... I would be tempted to do the same thing with the drain plugs in the block.... (which would also tend to circulate water thru the whole radiator....) and get out as much crap as you can before you even start with the chemical flush.....

Pulled stat first thing when draining radiator and block. Closed up and flushed with water, drained and refilled with flush. Heated up, coole down, drained flush (block and radiator, filled with water, ran and letting cool again. Will check and see how clean it looks then either fill with water again or flush again. Have 3 bottles of flush...hope that is enough to get it crystal clear.....

R&R'd my trans cooler brackets for some detailing and painting. Big mod, added rivet nuts to make cooler r&r easier.

Replaced my balljoints. Finally...

Much more control now. Install kind of sucked but the end result makes me feel more reassured.

Lol they've seen better days. I didn't go all out on expensive replacements, rather I went with some NAPA $50 joints. We'll see how long they decide to last and how well.

almost finished with all the transmission work! all in all i replaced, and added...

remote filter
drain plug
internal filter, and new pan gasket
tcc solenoid
gov solenoid
gov sensor
pressure, and return trans lines
rear seal on trans
input seal on t-case
12+ qts atf+4

t-case had literally 3 table spoons of atf in it when i went to empty it out, to put new fluid in.
going to get a new aux cooler in a couple weeks, mine is less than 2 years old, and leaking at the bottom connector FML! will never buy a derale cooler again!

going to have to install a helicoil on one of the trans pan bolt holes because it somehow got stripped out.

excited to have overdrive for the first time in almost 2 years!

trans line manifold, and temp gauge within the next month also.

"gdstock"~ Put about a half gallon of bleach in that radiator and leave it in for a few days , then flush it. It will clean it. I did it before and it made my radiator look new again.
