I would leave them. Never been a fan of smoked lights.

Well I disagree with the others. I like the smoked look. To an extent. To me it has to go with the scheme of the ride. I'm all silver and black so the smoked look goes well with mine IMO. Although some rides look so stupid with them...

I'd say no.

I agree, but not if its what Johnn123 is going for above.

Started a lighting mod. Will be ready for the night snow wheeling.

This is only 12 lights. More for the front and rear to come.

About 90% of the way to hauling the instrument panel out for the new dash, bezel, and heater core... the damned steering column fought me for quite a while, didn't want to come out of the coupler. In the morning the instrument panel comes out, then the heater core gets swapped, the new dash goes on, and everything goes back together. I have a feeling that the steering column is going to fight me going back in, too. I'm thinkin' that anti-seize on the shaft is in order.

It's kinda cool that the '98 steering wheel locks upside-down. It puts the coupler pinch bolt in a spot that's accessible from underneath with a two foot extension on the ratchet. Very cool.

I just dropped my column down inside and did not disconnect the shaft when I did mine. Figured it would be a little less work..
