installed led 194 bulbs in my cab lights, for a future strobe light use. just need to purchase an led flasher, and some better quality led bulbs. bought the led's on ebay, NEVER WILL AGAIN! 5 out of the 10 i bought came NON FUNCTIONING!
sound like you had horrible luck with LED's. i have bought 100's of LED's on ebay and never had one show up here dead. i usually go through and test them all when i first get them.
i was busy working on my 81 and 91 today. i started by working on my 81 and decide my rad support was screwed so i started removing the rad support out of my 91. got most of the way done but i am stuck at removing the hood and fenders.
Finished installing the hub assembly i started on Monday. When going to put the tire back on my dad was jacking the truck up and the jack let loose with my foot under the tire.. luckily the jackstand caught the truck. So only 80% of the weight was on my foot.. thanks to steel toe my foot is ok

I'm damned glad you got away with that and all is well!
I was a little shaky. Ripped my foot out from the shoe cause it was pinned underneath... the steel bent in a bit but only enough to make the sneakers uncomfortable to wear now. Moral of the story is always have steel toes on when working in the garage

Yes, and don't forget to protect your baby blues by wearing safety glasses, although they're not much help if a truck falls on your head.

The moral of the story is NEVER put any part of your body under any part of a vehicle that is not safely supported by jack stands. I've known guys who've lost toes that got bit off by steel toed boots that got crushed.
