batteries(yes i have 2) are brand new as of january 2012. the connections are clean, and tight.

but if your truck sits as much as it sounds like the batteries may not be in that great of shape as they would be if your truck as driven all the time like most people.

I had problems occasionally with mine when I lit it sit too long, and that was after I installed an Interstate. If I drive it once a week it starts just fine.

I have a NAPA battery with a 6 year warranty on it and it starts just fine even if sitting for 3 months no problem.
