and a little light on the steering eh?
may want to invest in some timbrens, or some other weight leveling helpers.
ive put a heck of a lot more wood into the bed of my truck, and didnt squat nearly as bad as yours is. though i do have a 4x4, but still had stock suspension at that time.

I'd have to guess it was between 1,000-1,500lbs of wood, and I still have just as much if not more to cut up and bring up to split.
Twas a huge tree.
But probably do need to look at something if I'm gonna keep this truck. Looked at a 2001 Chevy Tahoe 4wd with the 5.3L Vortec, looking at Shelor Motor Mile, they don't have much for affordable Dodge trucks, they have plenty, just not cheap.
Considered Ford too, even worse of a selection on those though.
Edit:
They're running a "who's is bigger" battle in the 2nd/3rd Gen Diesel Thread in the GD Section

Used to Ram to haul a tree I cut down today. Biggest one I've felled yet, dropped exactly where I wanted it
Got some pictures of the load, it's really taxing my 1500 suspension and there is still A LOT of tree left to cut up. On the plus side it has AWESOME traction right now

You got a fatty hiding in the wood pile there?!
Yeah the steering kinda sucks with that much weight in the back. The bed was completely full of fresh cut Oak, even if you can't see wood it's there. I've noticed though when towing a trailer, regardless of weight the truck won't squat, at all, but load the bed up with wood, and you see what it does....

you're just jealous cause your truck with a little bit of wood in it looks like you just picked up a few fat chicks at mcdonalds and tried to hide them by putting a couple log rounds on top of them.

^lmao
Went to go the gas station to fill up my front tires, and Lowes to pick up the bolt and lock washer for my dipstick tube.
Well, the gas station took a bit longer than expected because I had to jump start a car for a couple ladies.
DODGE KICKS THE OTHER CAR'S *** BACK INTO LIFE. ONCE AGAIN.

Nope, no fat chicks!
Just **** tons of Oak. Might be pushing my little 1500, as you can see it squats like a sum bitch, probably still running the factory shocks too, actually, I'm sure I am, something about the Daimler-Chrysler Logo on them....
Might be a 1500 but she handles everything I throw at her...
