Almost EVERYONE loves to say that a 1500 can't handle a Cummins because it's so heavy, but we're expected to believe that little S10 will?
I call BS.
I mean your Cummins probably weighs more than the S10!
Plus you'd need a **** ton of ballast in the rear to actually drive it, and not spin tire just by looking at the accelerator...

it can be done, and has been done several times before...
just like 1500's have been converted to diesels before. 1500s have full frames under them that is boxed around the engine compartment... guess what?! S10's have full frames with boxed frame around the engine bay too!!!
if I threw my cummins in there, it would be converted to P7100 for simplicity's sake (no computers needed with a P-7100 injection pump) I would box the frame, put the V8 conversion springs up front to help with the weight increase, and chop/narrow a D80 rear end and attach it with a 4 link.

great trucks for turning into dragsters lol. amazing how many of them you see now competing in pro-stock and super gas classes...(all are faster than 9 seconds though super gas is forced to use a delay box to keep inside a time restriction)
