A carburetor is nothing more than a controlled fuel leak.

Jeezuz.

Leaking or burning?
Leaking headgasket, stop leak seems to have fixed it (for now).

These Fords use 13PSI cooling systems so it's alot easier for oil to get pumped into the coolant.

I know they can be finicky, and I was aware of that.

I went carb to avoid at least $500 in PCM rmfg and tuning, and $250 in wiring harness restoration. I got the complete engine for $500 so it was a more viable option.

I also have complete (basically) control over engine tuning now. If I stayed JTEC I couldn't tune it myself until 2014, if I was even lucky then.

I may go MS3 EFI later, dunno, hope to snag a Cummins darn cheap.

Exactly. I try telling people that, and they don't believe me.

I thought you were selling the 1500?

If a carb is a controlled fuel leak, then what are TBI systems?

The point is knowing and understanding the inaccuracy of the fuel leak.

Not right now, was thinking about it. Right now looking at adding another Ford to our flock of two trucks to make it 3.

If a carb is a controlled leak, then a CFI/TBI is a controlled pissing device IMO...

lmao...
