87-96 Fords are great trucks that I would never talk crap about. When I was buying a truck I was stuck between a '96 5.8L Bronco FWC Version and my current truck. Chose the Dodge because it was already lifted on 36s.

This link leads to a news story about a guy who is in a house that catches fire with his step son inside. The guy gets out OK but then tries to go into the burning building once the fire department and cops show up and ends up tazed and handcuffed.

Now everyone is wondering if the cops acted correctly or not.

I can say from experience that they did. When I was small town deputy more than once people were put into protective custody at not only fire scenes but at accident scenes.

If they had not been physically restrained they would have done something that would ended up in them being badly hurt or even dead. our volunteer fire department was small and our response time was usually pretty dismal if the fire was not inside the city limits {our unofficial motto was "We haven't lost a basement or foundation yet!"} but still this guy waited for the fire department and cops before becoming concerned enough to go back for the boy?

Ok, maybe he is a crack head or something {everyone knows that everyone who lives in a big city are a bunch of dopers right?} and not used to clear thinking, I don't know.

Just seems to me that maybe he has had dealings with authoritys before and saw a way to make the news, or gather grounds for a law suit. Who knows maybe the TV camera crews had made it to the scene too.

Highway, well, it's not much worse than the average Magnum V8 according to the poll on Dodge Talk.

The power is awesome too. Not saying EFI couldn't get better power/MPGs, but I'm happy with what I've got, and IMO that is what matters the most.

Well, there's that too. But not too terribly often as I don't have problems with beans.
