I was just thinking, and I realized that all the ext cabs I've seen are 98+. So I started to think, is that when they began production on these ext cab trucks? If you have an ext cab. what year is it?

Dodge makes a 3/4 ton ext cab right? Why the hell am I not seeing any around?

 

Club Cabs went into production late 1994 as 1995 models.
Quad Cabs went into production late 1997 as 1998 models.

The Dodge to get would be a early 1998 3/4 ton with a 12 valve and Quad Cab.

 

I have one.... 96.

I keep getting confused on terms though..... Extended cab, quad cab, yada yada yada....

I do not have four doors, but, I do have a back seat, that might be a tad uncomfortable if you are six foot or better...... The grand kids (2, and 7) LOVE it. I have to wrestle with my daughter for who uses that truck on any given day..... I think she likes driving it a bit too much.... even though it does have a hellacious appetite for gas.

 

Club cab has no back doors and quad cab does.

 

My 97 1500 is a club cab, my brothers 97 2500 is also a club cab. I love it. Its so convenient.
