Used Eddy hdrs, ypipe, Magnaflow 3" cat/muff with bone stock 5.9 & all the bolt ons.
Continued using that setup with 52tb, m1/2bbl, rt+ cam, 1.7rr, 24lb inj & smt6 tuning.
Exhaust stayed on for the Procharger.

Got so carried away with the 408 first time I fired it up barely had enough to run it let alone the Procharger too.(tune, fuel, exh, trans, suspension)
408/Procharger Im going with LT hdrs & a pair of Magnaflow 3" cats & muffs with an H pipe. Hope to have 3" exits on each side ahead of the axle.

I guess I like my exhaust even though it may not be mean or nasty to some. I run a Vortex (cherry bomb) with dual outs through a set of resonator tips.
When I can get my exhaust to sound like my old '69 Roadrunner with my replacement Walker "crewchief" mufflers, I'll be very happy.

For me Id say go with some headers, a hi flow cat, and some 2.5" straight pipe and tips, may be loud for some, but for me I love the sound and the cackle.

Cops hated it, had one crawl all over/under the truck with that exhaust on.

Eddy alum dual exit catback sounded pretty good but too quiet for my liking.

Magnaflow 3" exhaust was the ticket for me.
Deep tone at low rpms, good bark WOT with no raspyness at higher rpms.

+1 Magnaflow

Loudest...well hell just run open headers...but no really right now I have a straight y-pipe with not cats and then flowmaster 40. It is loud especially compared to my Evolution the fiancee drives. If the truck is idling and you turn on the evolution you cant even hear it all you hear is the truck. I have thought about going with cherry bomb glasspack though
