Honestly, I almost got that particular style. How well do you like it? I'm on a quality tool buying spree right now, and I may just snap up a set.
I love it. Gets into tight spots without trouble, and locks as well. One of the best tools I have used for the purpose.

I say just change the job around the tools....I hate them spring clamps so whenever I take one off I replace with a regular hose clamp, plus the shiny metal looks better to me

I found an awesome tool vendor link on another forum: Network Tool Warehouse

Prices are awesome on Lisle tools, but I'm uncertain about some of the other brands. It would be beneficial if anyone here can render reviews or opinions on some of the brands sold there. For example, I'm considering picking up OTC impact socket sets. Anyone here have experience with OTC products?

OTC is top of the line. Machine shops and the Dealers use a lot of there products. I have a few things. Very heavy duty.

Awesome. After a lot of checking around, including The Tool Network, I've decided to add Koken to my arsenal of hand tools as well.

I'm looking for shallow metric sockets for axle nut removal. I don't want cheap Chinese garbage while on the same note I don't want to pay the Snap-On guy $50 for a frigging socket. Ingersol-Rand only makes socket sets for SAE and I need any set to include 36mm. Suggestions for sources? SK has been suggested as good quality for the price.

As an aside, I'm replacing the crappy Pittsburgh impact sockets from Harbor Freight and am trying to decide on Proto vs Blackhawk, although I may lean toward Ingersol-Rand sets.

Try Tractor Supply Co. They have the big sockets and ratchets, along with wrenches. Good prices too. Dont know if they have metric though.

I find them better than the Pittsburg crap you have.
