exhaust o2 sensor question

Default exhaust o2 sensor question

i had my cat removed. years ago i had alot of exhaust work done in the years trying to get it right. long story short. i got under there to tighten my downflows i bolted on and i noticed that i only have one o2 sensor. looks to be the one that would sit behind the cat. is that ok or what i know i run rich but am i loosing anything and is it hurting anything

You need the precat o2 sensor installed. It's much more important than the post o2.

ya i figured that i can get one for 50 at advancedauto. but while i was under there i did not see where the o2 sensor plug would plug in. i know ill have to get it installed as theres no hole where it would go in the exhaust and no plug in for the pcm to read it. and since i have no cat ill prob end up getting o2 fouler kits to brg it farther away from the exhaust so it fools the comp to think i still have a cat eliminating the cell

Both connectors (front and rear O2) should be up on top of the trans, where you can't possibly reach them.....

+1........ And don't get a POS from Advance. Get NTK sensors from Rock auto. Which btw, if you read any other threads besides your own around here, you should already know that.
