Giving my ram a little lift

Tonight i just ordered Helwig Helper Springs and HBS's 2" leveling kit.

I just think my truck will look a lot better raised up a little.

Also tomorrow ill probably be picking up an led strip to put under the tail gate.

What would be the benefit of lifting 2"? 2wd or 4x4? Not thinking of doing mine, just wondering. My wife, all 5'2" already complains when she has to "climb" into either truck! (but when she is complaining about that, she may be overlooking something I did - and that's usually a good thing!)

Make it look cooler... Little extra clearance for those 33's (or 35's for us 2500's)...

C'mon man to make it more of a chick machine!!!

At my age, cool is on the inside....chick machine? ..lmao

It helps give it more wind resistance so we can complain about our crappy MPG in other threads, especially if paired with big tires and stock gears ;).
I'm thinking about getting a leveling kit myself for a bit more clearance in the front.

Hey now, don't be giving away our secrets.

Alright this is the perfect thread to ask this question again, and the reason I say again is because of conflicting answer's.

Is 3" or 2.5" the max lift for the front on our trucks without having to get larger control arms?

I've seen people say 3" and I've seen some say 2.5", a member here is selling some diesel coil springs and I've love to snatch them up if they won't be too much, I know it will ride stiffer, but who cares, the price sure beats a 2.5" coil spring spacer.... even with shipping...
